Masih bisa dipake sih, cuman sudah menunjukkan beberapa gejala uzur usia. Fan-nya berisik banget bahkan saat idle. DVD-RW/CD-ROM nya suka keluar sendiri, susah baca, sensitif bgt dah. Yah klo minat boleh bgt, cuman blom ada buat gantinya nih

I have submitted this report to tuxmobile.org and had been approved.
About bluetooth I haven’t try it again, but I remember it can list another bluetooth devices using gnome.

Wah … ini yang saya cari2 sejak lama. Saya juga pakai Versa E3100 dengan Ubuntu Dapper.

Udah pusing tujuh keliling instal modem gak bisa2. Mudah2an dengan tutorial ini modemnya nyala.

Modem ini satu-satunya alasan saya belum menghabisi riwayat WinXP di notebook saya.

Btw .. card readernya juga belum bisa sih, tapi itu gak major lah. Saya gak sering mengakses MMC Card kok.

The startup script for slmodemd is in /etc/init.d/sl-modem-daemon, and it will run automaticaly if you set DONT_START = 0 in /etc/default/sl-modem-daemon

Found one thing to clarify, about the modem:

$ sudo slmodemd –alsa -c INDONESIA modem:0

When run from the command prompt, need to add a ‘&’ to get the prompt back so you can run the wvdialconf. slmodemd needs to keep running. It probably has to be added to some startup / init script as well to make sure it runs every time the computer starts.

Hey this is great!! Just bought a NEC Versa E3100 (it’s cheap!) and trying to get Ubuntu to work properly on it. I don’t really read Bahasa at all, but there’s enough hints there in English to understand where to look and what to do. Excellent work!
